Friends of HopeFriends of Hope
Founded in 2005, Dallas

Friends of Hope is a day camp that has been the dream of Dr. Mary Carlile, the Director of the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) team at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR).

In the spring of 2005, the first Friends of Hope camp for TBI survivors was held at a local church. The goal for the camp is to travel to local places of worship and share with the community the dreams & hopes of TBI survivors.

The camp is a one day camp spent laughing, singing, eating, playing games and meeting new and familiar faces.

The camps are generally held in February, June and October. If you would like to be added to our mailing list, please email Cathy Skrivanek - email, and tell her you would like to be added to the FOH mailing list and you heard about our camp from the Mountain High web site.
